These are pictures of...a: The moon's surface shortly after it was formed and bombarded by meteors.b: The surface of Jupiter's moon Europa after being bombarded by meteors.c: The street that I live on after being bombarded by meteors.d: The street that I live on as seen in the early 1800's.e: The street that I live on as seen in present day.
Sadly, the correct answer is e.
I spent some time on the phone last Monday with the director of Public Services for our “fine” city and he told me that “he was doing a good job keeping this street in shape” and that “the street's maintenance has improved since he took over the job”. Tell me, what do you think? I think that everyone reading this post should give him a call and tell him what a great job he is doing with this road. I won't mention his name but he is the director of the Department of Public Services for the city of Westland Michigan. You can find his phone number here. The name on the page is wrong but just tell them you want to commend them on the fine job they're doing on Florence street.
I was watching a small car drive down the street tonight and it just disappeared right into a pot hole! I don't think it ever back came out. I hope the driver's ok.
Nice job Westland.
